FAQ


1. Age/level of project participants:
- 3-12 years old

2. Timetable for the 2002-2003 school year:
- September 2002 - June 2003
- Math problems are collected by 1st of March
- 1st of April math clowns party in all schools-participants

3. Possible project/classroom activities:
- writing stories about circus and clowns
- writing math problems about clowns during math lessons; problems are based on the studying themes
- drawing of clowns and organising exibition of pictures
- solving of math problems

4. Expected outcomes/products:
- organising of math competition in all schools-participant
- web-site with printable worksheets for teachers
- textbooks with math problems
- a book about the project with stories and pictures

5. Project contribution to others and the planet:
- this project stimulate the interest of studying
- develope creative skills
- children study how to see the problem and how to solve it
- teach how to work in projects
- children study how to plan their time
